How to: Use numeric keypad to enter numbers down a column or row.
Solution:
Turn NUM LOCK on and type numbers from the numeric keypad.
1) Press NUM LOCK to turn it on.
2) Type numbers in rows or columns using the numeric keypad.
3) To move around within the worksheet, activate the keypad arrow keys by doing one of the following:
a) To move up a cell, press SHIFT+8.
b) To move down a cell, press SHIFT+2.
c) To move to the right one cell at a time, press SHIFT+6.
d) To move to the left one cell at a time, press SHIFT+4.
NOTE: Using SHIFT with the keypad arrow keys saves users from taking their hand off the numeric keypad.
